How compatibility works
X4RACE handbrakes are detected by Windows as standard USB input devices (HID).
Compatibility does not depend on the device itself.
It depends on how the game handles input:
analog axis (like a pedal)
or keyboard button
This is why different games support different modes.

Analog Mode
The game supports analog input (axis).
This allows smooth and precise handbrake control,
just like in real cars.

Keyboard Mode
The game supports only digital input (button).
The handbrake works as an on/off trigger (0/1).

Why does a game support Keyboard Mode but not Analog Mode?
Some games do not support analog handbrake axis but allow assigning a button input.
